FAQ

To get started, send us a message via our contact form or give us a call expressing your interest in using CYBERLYNK for your project. Once we receive some initial details — such as the number of machines or systems involved and their locations — we’ll arrange a free consultation to discuss your requirements. Based on this, we’ll provide you with a tailored Service Level Agreement (SLA) and quotation.

No. Although, CYBERLYNK is a secure device,  it does not need to connect your live production systems. As with other customers to date, CYBERLYNK can connect to an offline copy of your software control system(s) (e.g. SCADA/MES/PCS) and the respective machines in vendor FAT location(s).
If an offline copy does not already exist, CYBERLYNK can also support the creation of one as part of the service.

CYBERLYNK is fully end-to-end encrypted, ensuring secure point-to-point, and point-to-multipoint connections. CYBERLYNK units are pre-configured to each customer’s project, ensuring only authorized connections are established.  In addition, CYBERLYNK does not collect any data.

No, all IP addresses on the machines or control systems (SCADA/MES/PCS, etc.) can remain unchanged. Also, no extra software is required to use CYBERLYNK.

CYBERLYNK is designed with simplicity in mind, making it easy for users to adopt without changes to existing systems.

CYBERLYNK supports any machine or system with an Ethernet interface.
This includes industrial machines and software control systems such as PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other Ethernet-based automation or control platforms. If systems communicate over Ethernet, CYBERLYNK can be utilised to support early integration, testing, and validation.

CYBERLYNK can be implemented at any stage of a project, either as part of a planned approach or introduced into an ongoing project.

CYBERLYNK is best incorporated during the planning stage of the project.

While CYBERLYNK delivers value and de-risks integration in all cases, the time-related benefits — including accelerated time to production — are maximised when

CYBERLYNK enables earlier integration testing, and issue detection by connecting systems before physical installation. This helps reduce commissioning riskshorten time-to-production, improve transparency across stakeholders, and avoid costly late-stage changes during SAT, or site commissioning.
